Team CARDION AB MOTORACING
Year 2006 has been a time of big changes. In December, Cardion AB Motoracing Team has been accepted for the World Motorcycle Road Racing Championship in classes 125ccm and 250 ccm.
Mr Karel Abraham, manager and also owner, is at the head of the Team. Coordinator, Zuzka Ulmanová, helps him with the organization, planning and contacting authority such as DORNA and IRTA.
Team entered season in national colours. Motorbikes, trucks, boxes, clothes - all is in blue - white - red colour's combination. A new truck prepared Bischoff - Scheck Company. After almost six months of dealing with APRILIA factory, both riders got factory bikes. Team consists of Czech and Italian mechanics and telemetrics. One mechanic from Holland is working on 250 bike. These all people are in charge of technical background of the Team. They are working under the leadership of great and experienced chief mechanic, Mr Mauro Noccioli. Leather suit made PSI HUBIK Company. ARAI took care of helmets.
Karel Abraham Jr is going to continue representing Cardion AB Motoracing Team in 125 ccm category. His motorbike is prepared with factory KIT. After the first test of this season, chief mechanic was a little bit confused. He pointed Abaja´s riding mistakes. In the end of IRTA TESTS, Abaja started to improve his achievement. The first point of the season is expected in the middle of the season.
In the end of the last year, leadership of the team decided to engage another rider. Jakub Smrž was appealed to represent the Team in 250 category. He was offered factory bike APRILA 250 RSW LE. His achievement during the first IRTA tests was really surprising an unexpected. Jakub reached great third position. It means big ambitions for the first race.
Cardion Company will continue to support the team as a general sponsor. Jakub and Abaja became the "face" of Masaryk Circuit in Czech Republic which is also sponsor of the Team. AKUNA, KAPE MEDICAL are also big supports for the Team.
