Karel Abraham has not flown away to Japan, now he is awaiting the return of his motorbike

Karel Abraham from the Brno team Cardion AB could not traveled to Japan for another race of Moto2 class on Saturday. Conversely at home in Brno, where he was waiting for news from Motegi, because his motorcycle must return to Europe. It went straight from Qatar for the second race of the championship.
"So far everything is negotiating, but the next race of world championship is on the agenda until the first weekend in May in Jerez, Spain, and so I believe that there will be no complications and I will have the machine ready in the pits on arrival in Jerez“.

- How much do you think the transfer of Japanese Grand Prix into a new date disturb course of world motorcycle championship?
Deadline 3rd October, although was not officially confirmed yet on Monday, but I think it's pre-arranged. To me, this change does not disturb the program of the championship, because 19th September is on the agenda Aragon GP and next race should go according to plan on 10th October in Malaysia. Meanwhile, it is a long time to insert the Japanese Grand Prix. Only we will go overseas for a few days earlier. It appears good

- What are you going to do of unscheduled time off?
At home, there is a normal week in front of me in which I might ride motocross, and I will go to school.

- When you look back on the first race of a new class Moto2 in Qatar, where you finished fourteenth and you got two points, do you still regret the most a result of qualification?
Definitely, because I had 23rd time. It turned out that even a qualification and the start position are important for the final result. Japanese Tomizawa rode ninth best time and he used it very well. He brought an excellent performance to take opponents' mistakes, but mainly he held at the lead group from the begining.

- Were you not surprised that the starting field split into smaller groups pretty quickly, although the differences in qualification were slight?
I admit that before the race I had some thoughts that it will create some kind of "train" on the track and all together will reach to the finish. It never happened, it was practically the same battle as in 250cc, although riders have the same engines now and that is good.

- In Qatar, you were not satisfied with a top speed. Does RSV going to make some adjustments to the bike in this direction already in Jerez?
Changes in aerodynamics machine are still preparing, I believe it will improve in Jerez, but all things I need will be available only during the race at Le Mans on May.

- It should be a second draw of Honda engine in Jerez, is it gonna be like that or the deadline has changed?
I do not know that yet. At Motegi I should start with the same engine, which I had available in Qatar. It remained sealed and nothing changed in it of course.

- Are you looking forward to Jerez, where you rode the third-best time at the IRTA test´s?
These were the tests and one fast lap. Otherwise, I failed at 250cc in Jerez many times. Last year I fell and the best result is the thirteenth place in 2008. But I believe that I will demonstrate a good performance and bring more points than from Qatar.

Thank you for the interview.
