Karel Abraham rode 11th time in tropical heat on Friday
Karel Abraham had although almost fall also several times, because the front of the machine was not in an ideal setup, but he made it alright. Karel rode the fastest time in his penultimate lap (27th) when he had 1:26,939 time and that ranked him on eleventh place. He was loosing six tenth of a second to the fastest Italian rider Corsi. First nineteen riders were in one second on Friday.
Karel Abraham said after Friday's practice:
"The heat was exhausting. I have never seen something like that here and that is even I ride for the sixth time here. Eleventh best time for begining is not bad, but it could be even better. Unfortunately, I had enough to worry about the front part of the motorcycle, because it was slipping a lot and I had to control myself to not to fall down several times. We're going to change the settings and we will see as this proves on Saturday. Otherwise, I wait for the local short circuit not only very challenging race, but also very difficult qualification because it will be hard to ride a good performance in the field of forty riders. "
