Karel Abraham rode best qualification in Sachsenring, he finished eleventh

Karel Abraham had confirmed the good form in free practice, where he got time under 1:26 - and that was 1:25,959. That was managed by the fastest Italian Iannone and the other Spaniard Simon. It was a great encouragement for the qualifying battle. Karel started it well. Already in the 7th lap he rode time of 1:26,110 and he was seventh the twenty minutes before the end. He approached to this same time a few times, but he did not get below 1:26. He finished on eleventh place, and this is his best qualifying result this year, because in the GP of Catalunya and GP of Holland he rode the twelfth time. On Sunday, Karel will start from the third row. Consummate winner was Italian Iannone, who as one and only got below 1:25.

Karel Abraham said after qualification:
" I rode the best qualifying result of this year, but it could be better. But my fears came true. At the beginning of the qualification, it was possible to ride fast lap, but then not anymore. Riders were waiting and there was no place to improve. Moreover, I left the track once and then I almost fell off. Pleasant ít was cold today. There were also less of falls in the circuit. On Sunday, I will start from the third row again and we will see how it will work. Last year, I rode even fifth best time in qualification here in the wet , but then I was unlucky in the race. It started on dry and I rode around seventh place, but then it rained and the race was interrupted. While shower ceased, we took the risk not to change tires and I have had already wet tires on. But the track was dry and I rode into the box, because it was not worth continuing on. We lost the race when it looked like Í will ride in the top ten cool. Perhaps, I will finally overcome the bad luck this year in Sachsenring."
