Karel Abraham rode the second best time in the opening free practice

Karel Abraham started his home race in the good mood. He gradually accelerated and in half of practice he rode the time which took him to seventh place. Twenty-three minutes before the end he tried to improve his performance by himself  and he did it. The time to 2:04,875 has shown on timekeeper came in his seventh lap, which made him to be the one and only rider below 2:05 for a long time. After a short break, Abaja went back to the track, but another attempt to speed up was finished by a very nasty fall. Fortunately it only took a motorcycle, with whom the mechanics would have a lot of work. Kaja is ok. His time held up to the first position until the very end, when he was surpassed by two Fons Nieto.

After the free practice Karel Abraham said:

I am sorry for the fall, but I admit that I do not know why it happened. It came unexpectedly, when I went in a group and virtually were not hurry. We have to just find out. I managed to ride a nice time, but we have to wait for tomorrow, and especially the day after tomorrow. I was not very happy with a motorcycle on Friday and I passed only ten laps. Likewise top speed is not good. So we have to look carefully at the telemetry. We have enough work now. "
