THANK TO OUR SPONSORS

THE END OF THE SEASON 2005 AND THANK TO OUR SPONSORS
Dear sports enthusiasts:

Our first season in the wide world of motorcycling is behind us. When we look back on it, we can say we have not been disappointed. While it is true that earning a point is a big challenge for us next season, on the other hand, when we were up against having a young and inexperienced rider and a whole team put together in the middle of the season faced with the decision of going it alone against the world or doing nothing, we understand that even small successes meant a lot this season. With the split up of the Semprucci team, the Czech part of the team was faced with a great challenge of standing on its own in the world championship without any prior experience. Abaja was also forced to go it alone without the help of an older colleague and the advice of more experienced riders to help him find the way to better results.

The first very successful race came at the French GP at Le Mans with a 21st-place finish, followed by the British GP at Donington (17th place), a great race at Sachsenring (17th place) and a nice 18th-place finish in Turkey. Sometimes the racing was very painful, like in Australia or in Malaysia, and there were also moments of rage like at the last GP in Valencia.

The start of every race and success or disappointment, and every test run and practice depend on a lot of things: the technology, the readiness of the technology, the mechanics, the telemetrist, the drivers, the conditions of the race, the quality of the track etc. It is appropriate to thank all of the members of the team for their work throughout the year and for their dedication and patience. We wish to thank the riders, and we wish them lots of strength for the new season. We want to thank the team’s management for their preparations for all of the races. Thanks are also due to the APRILIA factory for preparing the bike.

The main thanks, however, goes to our sponsors, led by our general sponsor CARDION s.r.o. Without their support, understanding and enthusiasm for motorcycle sports, it would be virtually impossible for us to participate in the championship. We wish to give thanks for the generous support we got at a moment when the team began to work independently and when help with purchasing technology and more equipment was necessary and had not been planned for.

The 2005 season is over, and we are already planning the new 2006 season. We would really like for our team to be taken in as a new team in the World Championship Series of motorcycle road racing. Unfortunately, acceptance is not automatic, and is subject to the approval of the top officials of the DORNA GP. If we succeed, we would be the first truly Czech team with Czech riders in the categories of up to 125 cc and 250 cc with APRILIA factory support in the World Championship. Keep your fingers crossed for us. You can believe us when we say that we will try not to disappoint our fans and our sponsors.
