The final IRTA test of the new class Moto2 started in Jerez

They tested with a very nice weather for two days in Jerez and the teams used the maximum from that perfect situation. Team Cardion AB Motoracing worked hard too. By the way Karel Abraham was not satisfied with the RSV motorcycle in the first day. He had the biggest problem in the corners with the bad working front wheel. Changes of settings did not help and twenty years old rider had a crash before noon  in which he damaged his motorcycle very much. But mechanics repair the machine by the afternoon and Karel started to accelerate more than in the mornings tests. Nevertheless his time 1:46,236 could only be just 26th place. Spanish rider Elias had the best time on Saturday (1:44,077).
On Sunday, the team from Brno has improved the settings of RSV motorcycle. Karel reached the sixteenth best time 1:45,490  in the afternoon and he finished twentieth overall. Karel was in one second with the best rider of second day Takahashi (Japan - 1:44,552) which means the field was very stabled .

Karel Abraham said after Sunday's program:
" I had a bad start on Saturday. However, we chose the same settings as in the recent second IRTA test at this track. Last time it looked good. But it didn´t work this time. The worst was rebounded front wheel. Because of that we were constantly trying to change some things. Crash slowed us down but the most it took the bike luckily. I had accelerated in the afternoon  but still I wasn´t satisfied with that. Motorcycle just did not work according to my ideas. On Sunday, I drove sixty rounds and we were traying some changes again. It was better in the afternoon. I accelerated a lot against my rivals and I had the sixteenth time. The front wheel was not so restless but still it wasn´t good. I've lost on straights a lot. I had a maximum speed of 233.3 km / h and Takahashi 246 km / h. On Monday, there is still so much work waiting for us.
