Good race with unsuccessful end

Karel Abraham finished the Grand Prix of Turkey in the 18th position. He was very close to his first point in the World Championship.

Karel Abraham drove very successfully in today's race. The start was really good and the middle of the race too. The end of the race was not as good as everybody expected. Karel Abraham is a little bit disappointed about the end of the race. The position that he was reaching in the middle of the race was enough for his first point.

Karel Abraham:
„I am sorry about today's race. Otherwise I think that it was not so bad for me. The start was very good and after the first lap I was reaching the twentieth position. After the four lap I was reaching the eighteenth position and I was continuing to accelerate. I was little bit faster then the riders behind me. After the tenth lap a technical problem appeared. It was not possible to continue so fast. I had to slow down and the riders behind me drove me over. I am happy to finish the race at all. The eighteenth position is good for me. “
