Twelfth qualifying time made a start from the third row for Karel Abraham

After Friday's free practice, although the problems with an official Honda 600 engine revealed - were managed to solve, so Karel Abraham could concentrate only on his performance. In the second morning free practice against the previous day, Karel got improved on the machine FTR and reached the sixth best time. Of course the whole team was happy for that, before the qualification in the afternoon.
Qualifying battle took place in good weather. Karel rode balanced and fast times and he attacked the morning practice performance. He approached it the most in the 19th round, when he rode 1:39,990 time. Yet it was in Assen, his the very best qualification, because he ranked on twelfth place. He will start the race from the third row. He rode the fastest time in his 19th lap from his 21 laps.
The qualification won Italian Iannone with the time 1:39,092. Fifteen riders were in one second with him..

Karel Abraham said after qualification:
" It would be even better, but the track was once again crammed with riders who were riding in a fast lap very confused way. So I had to wait very often until at least it made a little space. Moreover, the qualification was halted twice because of a motorcycle, which remained after the fall of the rider on the track. I got "highsider" also, although I did not fall, but I just hit myself into the injured hand. Massages and bandage is helping to me, but I believe that the hand will last the entire race on Saturday. According to the weather it should be cloudy but no rain.
