Bad start and crash in the first part of the race

The last race of the World Championship was not successful for young Karel Abraham. He spoilt the start of the race and finally crashed.

Karel Abraham is a little bit disappointed after today's race. Everybody expected exciting ride. After the bad start, Karel Abraham started to accelerate and he took over two riders. Finally he crashed in the tenth lap from the 33rd position when he was taking over another rider.

Karel Abraham:
„The weather was really cold in the morning. In the warm up I was driving in a new piston. The race was even worse for me. I spoilt the start. I do not know if it was my mistake or if there was something wrong with the motorbike. The red light was lighting too long and may be the clutch was getting warmer and warmer. And after a few moments the engine switched off. I restarted the motorbike but it was too late because all riders were already in the first turning. The whole race I was trying to drive very fast. I took over two riders in front of me. When turning over the third rider, I crashed. He pushed me out of the track and I had to fall down because of the safety tyres that were too near from me. I am really disappointed. “
