Karel Abraham finished 13th and 11th in his very first appearance in WSBK championship at Phillip Island.

After hitting the track for the first time in Jerez at the end of January, the team headed to Aragón looking to improve their knowledge of the bike and work on their set-up.

After a busy winter period spent preparing to contest the 2016 WorldSBK season, the team got their first taste of running a World Superbike at the Circuito de Jerez on 26th-27th January. Riding their BMW S1000RRs on track for the first time, riders Josh Brookes and Karel Abraham both responded positively to the bike after two days of running.

Karel Abraham will be skipping the last race of the MotoGP season. After a consultation with physicians, the Czech rider decided not to put his injured foot under pressure and skip the last race. As in the previous two overseas races, Australian rider Anthony West will be his replacement.
