Karel Abraham cut two seconds from Friday´s maximum during the qualifying of Grand Prix of Aragon. The time 1:49,761 means for the Czech rider twenty-third position on the grid.

Satisfaction after morning session resulted in a good 22 th position turned out to be a disappointment. Good setting of the bike in the morning did not work very well in the evening session, probably due to high temperature. The limitation is still the not fully recovered foot.

During the thirteenth race of MotoGP, season the weather prepared dramatic show for riders and fans. Riders were forced to change their bike twice during the race. In combination with still not completely healed foot he did not reach on better result than twenty-fifth place. He will start to Sunday race from eighth row.

Karel Abraham finished nineteenth in British Grand Prix at Silverstone. Rain influenced race had been postponed after the warm up lap, the rain also resulted in slower lap times, so riders spend about twenty percent longer time on the track compared to usual duration of the race.

Two months after an unfortunate fall which resulted in surgery and a long recovery for the Czech MotoGP racer, the team is starting to look for the right setup, while also trying to take the strain off of the injured leg.

Czech MotoGP rider Karel Abraham will participate in the Grand Prix of the Czech Republic. He will get on a competitive bike for the first time in two months after receiving treatment for a foot injury he incurred during a training session for the Catalonia Grand Prix in June. Just ten days ago, doctors removed a splint from Abraham’s foot. In the last few days he has undergone intense physiotherapy so that he will be able to compete during the racing weekend.
